Start with the bend in mind.

Our mission is to equip K - 12th grade families

to discover and grow in their God-given bend.

Every family is unique, and we believe their education experience should be made to match.

Using customized biblical education shaped by your family’s unique bend, our goal is to raise up generations of strong, disciple-making families starting in the most foundational years.

Our Four Foundations

Through an original discovery framework, we equip families to use the unique bend of their student as the lens in which they learn to learn.

Using a hybrid model, we support families who desire the customization of home education with the guidance and accountability of classroom instruction.

Informed by their unique bend, we engage students’ interests and skills with age-appropriate, real-world application opportunities.

We know a student’s academic success is directly related to their moral instruction. All curriculum is rooted in an evangelical Christian worldview.

What Makes Us Different:

  • Hybrid academic model and innovative educational philosophy

  • Concentration on trait-focused discovery and growth for the family

  • One-room schoolhouse collaboration times

  • Care-based resources and experiences in nutrition and family counseling

  • Application-oriented outcomes according to your students’ unique bend

Our Tracks

2024 - 2025

Core and Enrichment Year 1

(K-6th Grade)

  • Students will attend classes on campus Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30am - 2pm.

During the other days of the week, students continue their work at home in partnership with their parents. We believe this hybrid model allows families to experience the customization of home education with an educational support system.

  • The Roots and Branches Track includes the core courses of learning (Roots) as well as enrichment courses (Branches). Families use a unique blend of our recommended curriculum along with their own curriculum at home.

Families continue the work at home by following the home lesson plans crafted by the WaterStone Academy faculty.

    Roots Courses:

    • Bible

    • Language Arts

    • Math

    Branches Courses:

    • Music

    • Art

    • History

    • Science

Students engage in this coursework within small classroom sizes (1:15 teacher-student ratio).

For more details, check out Our Tracks.

  • Tuition for K-6th grade students for the 2024-2025 school year is $3085.

This year, we are willing to partner with families with the StepUp FES-UA and PEP scholarships.

For more information, please see our 2024-2025 Fee Summary and Financial Agreement.

Homeschool Enrichment Pilot

(7th-12th Grade)

  • Students will attend their home room on campus Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30am - 2pm. During this time, they will experience a facilitated environment involving collaborative study, independent study, breaks, and subject-based tutoring.

During the other days of the week, students continue their work at home in partnership with their parents. We believe this hybrid model allows families to experience the customization of home education with an educational support system.

  • For our Home Education Enrichment Pilot we partner with families navigating the new endeavors of upper school.

We want families to experience the best of hybrid education, especially as their 7th-12th grade students step closer to higher education and career. This stage of education not only engages new academic skill, but also new social and emotional skills as well. This is what led us to design this program around these skills.

In this Track, older students enjoy a facilitated space that teaches independent study techniques, collaborative practice, and tutoring in Math, Science and Writing for a couple hours a week.

  • Tuition for 7th-12th grade students for the 2024-2025 school year is $1,400 ($46 per school week).

This year, we are willing to partner with families with the StepUp FES-UA and PEP scholarships.

For more information, please see our 2024-2025 Fee Summary and Financial Agreement.

While on campus, students engage in hands-on instruction within small classroom sizes (1:15 teacher-student ratio). They receive instruction from educators committed to your child’s academic excellence, as well as the discovery and growth of every child’s bend. This includes Trait-focused Time in the daily class schedule, where your child learns the age-appropriate skills and techniques to grow in their discipleship.

In addition to grade-based instruction times, our class day schedule finds inspiration in a one-room schoolhouse philosophy, where educators facilitate a collaborative environment for students to learn from and with students of different grades during appointed periods of the day throughout the semester.

Finally, for the Core and Enrichment Track, families will enjoy expressing their students’ learning through different applications during the semester, where they are able to tie together their bend, their learning, and real-world skills that will help them collaborate and contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

For our families with students in grades beyond our Core and Enrichment Track, we offer a Home Education Enrichment Track, where older students enjoy a facilitated space that teaches independent study techniques, collaborative practice, and tutoring in Math, Science and Writing.

ADMISSIONS

Apply Today

Admissions for the 2024-2025 school year is now open.

While it does not guarantee acceptance into the program, an Admissions Application does indicate the family's interest, commitment and willingness to partner with us in this innovative education experience.

An Admissions Application gives us a glimpse into your heart and family, as well as helps us know how to prepare our faculty accordingly for the upcoming school year.
